This privacy statement accords with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 (Vic) including subsequent amendments. Membership to the Pool Inspection Apps services should draw their attention to the following particulars.
Pool Inspection Apps will need to collect and record information of all members throughout the course of their normal business activities but only for the purpose of providing accurate details applicable to the individual report, certification services and billing procedures. By using these services you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
To assist in maintaining correct records, it is important that all members keep us informed of any changes as they occur to their registration qualifications or any other relevant inspector member information. Any member may alter or cancel their membership or any inspector sub-membership they may have registered at any time by simply informing us of their intent to do so or by accessing their membership portal.
All membership information and personal details including banking details required by Pool Inspection Apps shall remain private and confidential and will not be voluntarily disclosed to third parties except as required by law or for storage, software update and maintenance purposes. Swimming pool/spa owner report or compliance certification data may be made available to State registration authorities, municipal councils or pool barrier parties as required but these will not include personal and private member details.
Security of your personal information is very important to us but remember, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While Pool Inspection Apps will take all precautions possible it will not be held liable for any unlawful and unauthorized collection of personal member information or use of computer internet protocols by third party hacking or breach.
Pool Inspection Apps values it’s members who subscribe to use our services. It is possible that from time to time our automated invoicing or collection systems may get something wrong. For this we apologise.
